Here's my camping story for the day ...
I have a number of friends who have shared their woes about dropping their cell phones into the toilet. Well, last night I turned around and leaned over to flush the RV toilet. For those of you who don't RV, here's something you have to understand. The hole in the RV toilet goes directly (and I mean directly) into the black water tank. Yes, that's where all the nasty stuff is deposited. Something dropped into that hole doesn't pass go and doesn't collect $200. So, when I leaned over, my reading glasses fell directly into the open hole (it opens when you flush) and into the black water tank. Not retrievable (not in MY world anyway). Gone forever into, that's correct, the black hole of RV sanitation. And, so it goes.

Don't tell me that you would've been relieved to have had your glasses on a string so you COULD have pulled them back from the abyss. (My apologies, perhaps "relieved" is not the right word to use....)
