Here's my camping story for the day ...

I have a number of friends who have shared their woes about dropping their cell phones into the toilet. Well, last night I turned around and leaned over to flush the RV toilet. For those of you who don't RV, here's something you have to understand. The hole in the RV toilet goes directly (and I mean directly) into the black water tank. Yes, that's where all the nasty stuff is deposited. Something dropped into that hole doesn't pass go and doesn't collect $200. So, when I leaned over, my reading glasses fell directly into the open hole (it opens when you flush) and into the black water tank. Not retrievable (not in MY world anyway). Gone forever into, that's correct, the black hole of RV sanitation. And, so it goes.

On the road again - Day One Test

Welcome to On The Road Again with Toby. This is a test of my blog site. I've never done this before. But I'm excited about sharing my new life "on the road." Well, I'm not really quite on the road, but I've started living in my 35' fifth wheel RV at a campground in beautiful Southern Utah. Still working as a casino marketing consultant (which has me on the road all the time). I've got some stories to share and hope to have more as I live closer to nature and keep traveling.

Assuming this works, there will be more to come.
